What is this Counsel that God has given to be executed? How is an atom smasher like the Counsel of God? What is an atom smasher?
The atom smasher also known as a supercollider; it is designed to drive two molecules or atoms in opposite directions. At a precise given moment in time and in the same space, they are brought into alignment in opposition to one another. The two atoms crash or smash together and are broken by the great force of speed. To what ends? To see what they are made of or what are the building blocks of an atom are.
YHWH is the greatest Adam smasher. He sets in opposition two people who are made equal from the dust but held together by energy of life. As the collision happens God is looking to see what they are truly made of if they are truly made of Christ’s spirit, then there will be a coming together again in peace after the collision of thought or feelings. If not, then a claim that the spirit of Christ was not found there will have been proven true.
Isaiah 23:9… YHWH of armies himself has given this counsel (H3289), to profane (H2490 dishonor) the pride (H1347) of all beauty (H6643 Glory), to treat with contempt all the honorable (H3513) ones of the earth.
The God of heaven has given a command that all the honorable ones of the earth should be treated with contempt, and that all pride should be brought to dishonor.
Who is it that can stand against the expressed will of God? Who is wise and even understands these things as they are written to be able to endure them?
Psalms 107:40-43… He is pouring out contempt upon nobles, so that he makes them wander about in a featureless place, where there is no way. But he protects the poor one from affliction and converts him into families just like a flock. The upright ones see and rejoice; but as for all unrighteousness, it has to shut its mouth. Who is wise? He will both observe these things and show himself attentive toward God’s acts of loving-kindness.
The atoms that are brought to bear upon one another are in a controlled environment. They are locked in by a force field and they cannot alter their course. We, the men who are prideful or who are honorable sometimes find ourselves in the same circumstance. We cannot get out of this controlled environment and are destined to collide with one another.
What concerns us the most about this situation? Will we offer our apologies, or more importantly will they be accepted? We should operate in the law of Christ’s love. We should not be holding each other to accounts. We should not be counting up the wrongs that been done to us by anybody, as if we are going to settle them later. That would be Christ’s job, and that time would be called Judgment Day when he applies the atonement as needed to all who will accept it.
Malachi 3:2-6… For he is like a refiner’s fire and like washers’ soap; 3 he will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the descendants of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, until they present offerings to the Lord in righteousness. 4 Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasing to the Lord, as in the days of old and as in former years.Then I will draw near to you for judgment; I will be swift to bear witness against the sorcerers, against the adulterers, against those who swear falsely, against those who oppress the hired workers in their wages, the widow, and the orphan, against those who thrust aside the alien and do not fear me, says the Lord of hosts.6 For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, have not perished.
